Grande is Rovaniemi's first bar focused on rock music. The legendary Grande is known nationally as a unique northern small town bar, where everyone seems to have a story to tell. Founded in 1991, Grande has served the Lapland rock tribe for several generations and according to urban legend, Grande works better than Tinder.
During its long history, Grande has managed to operate in several different addresses, and with Grande 5.0, the bar moved from the basement to street level. In connection with the change, the legendary rock bar got a rock cafe and the coolest sun terrace in Rovaniemi.
Grande needed my help expressing its northern rock identity. After repositioning the cornerstones of the brand, I sharpened the graphic look. I implemented the spatial design and decorations of the bar in cooperation with rock artist Mari Keto. Be Your Own Rocks Star pin machine and all pixel artworks are the art of Mari Keto.
